Spare change, anyone?

As in, have you got a spare £70,000 to spend on these custom made House of Borgezie platinum heels?

I sure don’t but then again, I don’t think I would want to. Don’t get me wrong, the thought of a pair of designer shoes made specifically to fit myself and no one else is pretty fairytale-esque. However based on the pictures I’ve seen I don’t think you’ll find me elbowing people out of the way to get them.

Created by bespoke jewellers House of Borgezie they are the world’s first ever platinum shoes and they’re called The Borgezie Platinum Cleopatra Stiletto. They also come with a 1,000 year warranty and they also come with replacement soles which can easily replaced by the wearer. I’m starting to think £70,000 isn’t so bad. These shoes practically pay for themselves!

This isn’t the first time House of Borgezie has come up with fantastical creations of the shoe kind. In 2010 they made a stiletto encrusted with 30 carats of round brilliant cut diamonds and gold. They even described it as “a fine piece of jewellery” and I have to agree on every level.

These shoes rounded out at a cool £100,000 which is $160,000. Are you even surprised anymore?

So what do you think readers? Would you ever purchase such feats of wonder if given the money? Let me know your thoughts.

Also be sure to check out House of Borgezie, they have some amazing creations of the jewellery and bag kind.

Interesting fact: they created a bespoke bracelet for the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton. They have royal connections.

Autumn Is Here!*

*That sounded way more epic in my head.

Yep thats right, Autumn is here and with it comes more reason to splash out on the latest must haves. (I’m looking at you English weather *shakes fist*). Yet fear not buyMYheels fans, I have scoured the World Wide Web for some of the best rainy weather boots aka Wellington Boots for your consideration and I threw in some stylish coats and jackets.

I also found these lovely wellies from Joules, this only just a small sample of the amazing collection of boots that they have. These are just the ones that come rain or shine (hopefully more shine than rain) will have me wearing them.

And he’s still ready to snatch your money. Well not in the literal sense but I bet it feels like that when you spend hundreds on a pair of shoes. No matter how fabulous and totally, necessary to your life they are.

I say Louboutin is still here because I just haven’t heard his name being shouted from the rooftops on a regular basis anymore…at least compared to a few seasons ago. Do you remember how pretty much every celebrity was wearing a pair of Louboutins, at any given moment and we were always checking if their shoes had that iconic red sole? Nowadays it seems like all is quiet on that front.

Except, not really.

In fact, Christian Louboutin has become so popular that he’s become a fashion ‘requirement’. It’s the norm to see your favourite celebs wearing his creations on the red carpet and that’s probably why it seems like the hype has died down.

Added to that, a lot of women tend to go for the much tamer shoes of Louboutin’s collection such as the Pigalle Patent or the Bianca Patent.

Most likely because they go with almost anything and can easily be worn as a stylish work shoe or for a night on the tiles. I think that’s such a shame though because one of my favourite things about Louboutin is his ability to apply his eccentric nature to his work. Hence why I am in love with these Keny Python’s from the FW13 collection. The only way I can describe these beauties is just sexy. The mix of python and leather with the leopard is wild and adventurous; if this shoe was a person, it’d be Samantha from Sex and the City.

And these fabulous Pate Au Chou Pony’s (below), which remind me so much of cabaret dancers which I think is a lovely reminder of Louboutin’s early connections to cabaret shows as well as his appointment as guest creator for Crazy Horse Cabaret.

And don’t worry boys, I haven’t forgotten about you. There are a range of fabulous shoes available right now that are just as astonishing as the women’s range. I’ve picked a couple of my faves for your viewing pleasure.

Daddy Velvet.

I especially love the Daddy Velvet’s because tartan is one of my favourite patterns and both shoes just shout suave and sophisticated.

Be sure to check out Christian Louboutin’s FW13 collection; my choices are only a small sample of the great products on there. Let me know what you think and if you could have any Christian Louboutin shoe, which would be?

Looking forward to your choices!
